Rajasthani Ker sangri ki sabji

Hello foodies,

Today I am sharing authentic and delicious Rajasthani dish called Ker Sangri. This sabji is made of Rajasthani dried beans and berries with lots of oil and spicy masalas. It is very easy and quick recipe.

Ingredients:-

Dried Ker sangri – 2 cups
Oil – 4 tbsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – ½ tsp
Amchur powder – ½ tsp
Raisins – 4 tbsp
Dried whole red chilies - 2
Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Salt – as per taste
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Asafetida – ¼ tsp

Directions:-









1) Soak ker sangri in cold water for overnight.
2) Pressure cook soaked ker sangri for 3 whistles.
3) Heat oil in pan and add cumin seeds and asafetida powder.
4) When the seeds crackled add whole dried red chilies.
5) Now add boiled ker sangri and mix well.
6) Let it cook for about 3-4 mins.
7) Now add all above mentioned spices and mix well with ker sangri.
8) Let it cook for 2 mins and after 2 mins add raisins and again mix.
9) Now let the sabji cook for about 5- 7 mins
10) Switch off the flame and add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
11) Serve hot with poori / paratha.
