Palak Paneer Paratha - Spinach and Cottage Cheese Stuffed Paratha

Hello Foodies,

Palak Paneer is very popular entrée but today I am sharing this recipe with little twist – Palak paneer paratha. For stuffing I used palak, paneer and some spices. This is very simple and easy tiffin recipe. Enjoy this yummy paratha.






Yield: - 5 parathas

Ingredients:-

For Dough:-


Whole wheat flour – 2 cups
Semolina / Suzi – ¼ cup
Oil – 2 tbsp+ for brushing the parathas
Water – 1 ½ cups
Salt – as per taste

For Stuffing:-

Chopped spinach leaves – ¾ cup
Grated /Cottage cheese – ½ cup
Chili flakes – ½ tsp
Black pepper powder – ¼ tsp
Garam masala – ¼ tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Garlic powder – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – ½ tsp
Salt as per taste

Directions:-
 










1) In a mixing bowl add all above mentioned ingredients for making dough except water. Mix well and knead soft paratha dough using water.
2) Let the dough rest for about 15 mins.
3) In a mixing bowl mix add all stuffing ingredients and mix well.
4) Divide the dough in equal parts and make golf size balls from divided dough.
5) Take one dough ball and make 6 inch round circle chapati and apply little oil on it.
6) Place 2 tbsp stuffing on bottom of chapati and cover the paratha in half moon shape.
7) Now start twisting the edges of paratha same as gujiya. This will gives nice looks to your paratha.
8) Now heat the griddle and place the paratha on it.
9) Apply little oil and both side of paratha and let it cook until golden brown in color.
10) Serve hot with your choice of chutney or sauce.
